FINANCIAL INFORMATION
Recognizing the great need for the Biblical training Southland Bible Institute offers, and the inability of many who desire such training to meet the high cost of most higher education, Southland continues to hold the cost of its program to a minimum.

Single students arriving on campus early, and/or staying after the semester ends, may be charged $5.00/day for room.

The above costs are subject to change at the beginning of the semester
after notice has been posted to this effect at least thirty days prior to the beginning of registration.
 
A 50% reduction of class fees shall be granted to spouses of full-time students, and to their children who live at home.
 
SETTLEMENT AND ADJUSTMENT OF ACCOUNTS
 
          A minimum of one-fifth of the semester’s total charges will be due at registration.
          The balance will be due in four equal payments on the first of each month.
             If payment is not received by the 10th, a late fee of 18% of the amount due
                             or $10.00, whichever is less, may be assessed.
 
Students leaving school with an unpaid balance may be assessed a 1.5% fee
on the 10th of each month until accounts are paid.
 
     REFUND POLICY
 
The registration fee is not refundable. Refund of class fees depends on the length of time a student has been in attendance. The percentage of charges refunded is as follows:

If the student is dismissed from the Institute, no refunds will be granted. 
 
     FOR STUDENTS RECEIVING VA BENEFITS
 
If a student who is receiving an educational assistance allowance from the Department of Veterans Affairs fails to enter the course, withdraws, or is discontinued at any time prior to completion of the course, the amount charged for registration fee and tuition for the portion of the course completed shall not exceed the pro rata portion of the total charges for the course that the length of the completed portion of the course bears to its total length.
 
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
 
All student accounts must be paid in full at the end of each semester.
 
Any student whose account is not paid in full at the end of the semester may not be allowed to enroll in the next semester.
 
Southland reserves the right to examine any delinquent account at mid-term with the possibility of asking the student, who has shown no responsibility in regard to his account, to leave school.
 
Southland is pledged to help those who do their best spiritually, scholastically, and financially.
 
Any resident student leaving before the close of the semester will be expected to take all his belongings from school housing immediately. Southland will not be responsible for items left in school housing after the student severs his status as a student. All items left in the dorm one month after the student leaves will be removed from the school housing.
